Keep It In The Family

This weekend was my son's birthday and I took the opportunity to demand a photo session with him and his partner.  Initial nerves soon gave way to hamming it up for the camera.  One of the fastest and most fun shoots I have undertaken.  Usually, it takes 30 minutes or more to get a model to relax enough to pose well, but these two were firing on all cylinders within 5 minutes.

I've also been trying out some new techniques for post-production learned via the Joel Grimes academy, and speeding up my editing workflow by using Lumina 4 for finishing touches to the images.  Finally, I have also tried editing in the style of famous photographers which is a spin-off from the special interest group at my camera club.  A fun shooting session all round, resulting in some lovely images of the couple.
